A new form of “military ID” has been approved in Ukraine

The government has decided to change the procedure for processing and issuing military registration documents for conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists. The form of this document itself has also changed.

This was reported by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine .

It is noted that the government issued Resolution No. 559, approving the procedure for registration and issuance of military registration documents for conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists and the form of such a document.

At the same time, military registration documents issued before the entry into force of this resolution are considered valid throughout the territory of Ukraine until a new type of military registration document is issued. The resolution will come into force tomorrow.

The updated “military ID” will contain information about the full name, date of birth, Taxpayer Identification Number, data on the result of the military military examination, information about the availability of a deferment or reservation. It will also contain information about whether the citizen is a draft dodger.
