Attack on a TRC officer in Dnipro region: suspect detained

Law enforcement officers in Synelnykove, Dnipropetrovsk region, detained a 48-year-old man for attempted murder of a TRC officer.

A serviceman stopped a 48-year-old man to check his documents. To serve the summons, the man was asked to get into a company car. During the conversation, the man received a knife and hit the serviceman with it.

Investigators informed the detainee of suspicion. The man faces up to 15 years in prison. The investigation is ongoing.
