The military registration and enlistment office may look for a citizen who has not reported to the Terrestrial Recruitment Center after turning 25 years old or having changed his place of residence. In addition, they may cancel the deferment if they learn about expulsion from the university.
Ukrainians liable for military service, using the Ministry of Defence “Reserve+” application, can see six different statuses after updating the data . One of these statuses indicates that a citizen may be on a wanted list. Lieutenant Colonel Pavlo Lytvyn told the Hromadske portal about what the application alerts mean.
Lytvyn explained that citizens must first confirm or update information that is already contained in government registers. In particular, clarify, for example, your residential address, or mobile number, or email address. After this, a connection to the register of persons liable for military service “Oberih” occurs. Then the application shows six status options, some of which may be “disturbing,” the portal noted.
What do the statuses in "Reserve+" mean?
The official explained the meaning of the statuses, whether they pose any danger, and what needs to be done when seeing a certain alert.
The “Understanding” status is a temporary message, which means that the information we have about the person is being further verified. Litvin gave an example: a citizen brought a certificate stating that he is a student. An employee of the Territorial Acquisition Center (TRC) will check the certificate against the database of the Ministry of Education. If everything is correct or, on the contrary, the citizen was expelled, then the information will be updated. Then the “Understanding” status will disappear and others will appear.
Status “Subject to conscription” - a citizen can be mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In this case, the person liable for military service can act in two ways. Firstly, he can simply wait for the “mobilization order” or the so-called “combat agenda” to be brought to him. Secondly, if you have the right to a deferment or reservation, then the relevant documents must be brought to the TRC.
The status “Temporarily unfit” is established after passing a military medical commission (MMC). The Military Military Commission assessed the citizen’s health condition and, for example, saw that he could be treated and then he would become suitable for the army. In this case, for the duration of treatment, this particular status will be indicated in the Oberih registry.
Status "Wanted" - this message can be seen by a citizen who did not come to the TRC on time. A representative of the military registration and enlistment office reviewed two cases.
In both cases, military commissars will put the status “Wanted”. Lytvyn noted that this is not a criminal investigation carried out by the National Police, but a special mark from the TRC: in order to have it removed, you need to come to the recruitment center.
Status "Withdrawn" - a citizen is temporarily removed from the register of a certain Tercentre of Acquisition for the period when he, for example, moves to another city or for health reasons. At a new address or after a new IHC conclusion, this status will change to another appropriate one.
The “Excluded” status appears in the case when a citizen is declared completely unsuitable for mobilization into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Who can receive this status:
