Attack on border guard in Zakarpattia: suspects detained in Romania

In Romania, border guards detained two men suspected of attacking Ukrainian border guards in Zakarpattia during an illegal border crossing.

Sources in law enforcement agencies told the media about this.

“Two citizens of Ukraine who live in the Zaporizhzhya region, namely Boyarko A.S., were detained. Born in 1988 and Nezhyzhym R.M. Born in 1993. A request for their extradition is being prepared,” says the source.

He also said that a criminal case has been opened on this fact under articles of intentional violence against a law enforcement officer and for theft.

The suspects face seven to nine years in prison.
