Zelenskyy: 90 countries have confirmed participation in the Peace Summit
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 90 countries have already confirmed their participation in the Peace Summit in Switzerland in June.
He said this at a press conference on Monday in Madrid during a visit to Spain.
Zelenskyy noted that Spain’s participation in the first Global Peace Summit will be historic.
“Now 90 countries have already confirmed their participation, and we continue to work with world leaders for wider representation,” Zelenskyy said.
He thanked the head of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, for confirming his participation in the summit.
“There, at the summit, we will see who in the world actually believes in international law and is ready to effectively defend it. Every leader who does not want the continuation of this war and the subsequent aggression of the Russian Federation can demonstrate at the summit his true interest in peace.” , Zelenskyy added.
