Russia is preparing to carry out provocations in the Baltic region, - Zelenskyy

He said this at a joint press conference with participants in the third Ukraine-Northern Europe summit.

“Putin has the ability to spread war. The situation is nowhere near as good as he makes it out to be, but he is still able to spread terror against our cities and towns, trying to expand the war zone, and is preparing more military forces close to our borders. Russia is also signaling that it may be ready to commit aggressive provocations, in particular against borders in the Baltic region,” Zelenskyy said.

He emphasized that the key to positive changes for Ukraine at the front and in the war in general is air defense.

“Russia has no greater fundamental advantage other than CABs, missiles and combat aircraft. We must do everything to destroy Russian military aircraft, just as we are already destroying Russian warships in the Black Sea. For this we need Patriot air defence systems. And today we talked about how to speed up the delivery of Patriot systems to Ukraine. And I thank all my colleagues for their understanding,” the President said.
