Large-scale fire in Kharkiv: the fire spread to a service station

On Saturday, June 8, a powerful fire broke out in Kharkiv. A plume of black smoke rose above the fire site and was visible from different parts of the city.

Local Telegram channels publish photos and videos of the fire. All relevant services are already working on site.

It is noted that some kind of plastic processing plant caught fire, but the fire spread to a service station. At the same time, attacks from the terrorist state of Russia were not recorded.

Speaker of the State Emergency Service of the Kharkiv region yevhen Vasylenko told Suspilny that rescuers managed to stop the spread of fire in the Kholodnohirsk district of the city. According to him, at about 08:00, plastic film and plastic waste caught fire in an open area. Then the fire spread to three premises, two of which belong to the service station.

The total area of the fire was about 1800 square meters. m, they continue to extinguish it. Rescuers did not receive information about those killed or injured as a result of the emergency.

As of 12:30, the State Emergency Service of the Kharkiv region reported that the fight against the fire continues. 17 units of fire and rescue equipment and 87 rescuers are working at the scene of the incident. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or injuries.
