Ukrainian Armed Forces encircled the occupiers near Vovchansk: Z-channels report on a trap
In the city of Vovchansk, in the new Kharkov direction, units of the Russian Armed Forces were previously surrounded by the Ukrainians.
Information about this appeared on June 8 on the Z-channel, which is hosted by Russian officers.
There is still little information regarding this event. The Z-channel published a screenshot of a message that the Airborne Forces near Kharkiv, preliminary, have very big problems.
“You haven’t written about your people in the Kharkiv direction for a long time. Was it by chance that the Airborne Forces there in Vovchansk were surrounded? How were the Ukrainians able to lure them into a trap like that?” – the message said.
The advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Vovchansk is confirmed by the analyst of the German newspaper BILD Julian Repke. According to him, the occupiers have already been driven out of the center and north of the city, and part of the Russian forces are “surrounded and cut off.”
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces are retaking new positions in the north of Vovchansk. Russian troops continued to retreat,” Repke said.
He clarified that the Russian Armed Forces are using air bombs and artillery to destroy the areas from which they are being driven out. The battle is very serious.
