In the Poltava region, analysts from the Bureau of Economic Security identified suspicious tenders for repairs worth UAH 177 million. discovered two risky purchases for the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities in the Poltava region in the amount of more than 177 million UAH.

It was established that the Construction Department of the Poltava Regional State Administration planned to carry out the work at the expense of the “Program for the Restoration of Ukraine”. Tenders announced major renovation works in the physical education, sports, rehabilitation and recovery complex "Kolos" and the building of the pediatric department of the Municipal Enterprise "Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovskyi.

During the analysis of tenders, analysts found that the head of the winning company is involved in criminal proceedings for the misappropriation of budget funds when performing similar work.

“The agreements stipulated an advance payment of 30% for the work. In order to prevent the waste of public funds, analysts from TD BES in the Poltava region sent a letter to the manager about the identified risks. Based on the results of consideration of the letter, the customer refused to make an advance payment for the work in the amount of UAH 53 million,” it says. in the message.
