Occupants advance near the main defence line in Chasiv Yar

According to the speaker of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russians did not cross this line.

The speaker of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia" Nazar Voloshyn said that the Russian invaders have not crossed the main line of defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Chasiv Yar, but they are actively moving east of it.

He said this in a comment to LIGA.net.

It is known that a video has appeared on the Internet where Russian soldiers are moving through the ruins of houses in Chasiv Yar. According to Voloshin, the video was taken in the Kanal microdistrict, east of the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal, which is the main line of defense of the Ukrainian military in the city.

“The occupiers did not cross the main line of defense, but are actively moving east of it in this microdistrict,” the speaker said.

In turn, Russian propaganda reported that the occupiers had allegedly advanced 500 meters in the microdistrict; some talked about alleged battles in the Novyi district, showing footage from the Kanal microdistrict.

According to Voloshyn, the Russians are trying to storm Chasiv Yar in these microdistricts, as well as attack in the direction of Ivanivske, Kleshchiivka, Andriivka - southwest of the city.

He added that during the assaults the Russian army uses not only infantry units, but also tanks and armored vehicles.

“The Russian army intensified its efforts, but had no success. The enemy is actively carrying out artillery influence, air strikes and using drones in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar,” the speaker emphasized.
