Shahed’s attack on Kyiv: air defence destroyed all targets, preliminary, no damage
Using air defence forces and means, all enemy attack drones were destroyed on the approaches to the capital. At the moment, no destruction or casualties have been recorded in Kyiv.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration .
According to preliminary data, the enemy drones were launched from the south, flew through Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Poltava, Chernihiv regions and tried to attack Kyiv from the north-east.
“With air defense forces and means, all enemy targets were destroyed on the approaches to the capital (the type and number are disclosed by the Air Force in their reports),” the statement says.
According to the KSCA, at the moment no destruction or casualties have been recorded in the capital.
In addition, there was the threat of cruise missiles from Tu-95 strategic bombers. But now missile launches have not been confirmed. Missiles are not tracked in Ukrainian airspace, the administration said.
