DIU: Latest prisoner exchange not yet complete - operation ongoing
A representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, said that the 53rd exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia has not yet been completed, and additional information will be provided later.
Yusov stated this during the telethon.
"This is not the 53rd exchange yet, it has not been completed. The operation continues. As part of this operation, 90 of our defenders have already been returned. But this is not the latest news. And we really expect to report additional information in the near future. The work continues."
According to him, every prisoner exchange is complex, in part due to Russia’s disregard for international law and the Geneva Conventions.
