Invaders launched "Daggers", "Kalibrs" and "Shaheds" at Ukraine at night: air defence system was operating

On the evening of Wednesday, June 26, the Russian occupiers again attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type kamikaze drones, launching them from the south. An air raid alert was declared in most areas. At about 2:15 a.m., Russian troops launched Kalibr cruise missiles into Ukraine, and later launched Kinzhal supersonic missiles.

This information was made public by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The first “shaheds” were heading through the Kherson region towards the Mykolaiv region/Kryvyi Rih region.

As of 23:00, UAVs were observed moving in Mykolaiv region and in the Black Sea towards the south of Odesa region.

As of 23:40, several groups of UAVs were moving north-west in Mykolaiv region. A UAV was also spotted flying through Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, heading towards Odesa district.

The UAV’s course as of 00:30:

- from Odesa region in the direction of Vinnytsia region;

- from Mykolaiv region in the direction of Odesa and Kirovohrad regions;

- in the Kryvyi Rih district of Dnipropetrovsk region in an easterly direction.

As of 02:15, the alert was announced in most regions. In addition to the "Shahed" moving to the west of Ukraine, the occupiers launched Kalibr cruise missiles.

At 02:50, the Air Force reported the take-off of a MiG-31K fighter jet that launched Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.

The high-speed targets were flying southwest across the Zhytomyr region. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi regions.

Later, a missile danger was declared from the north - a missile was flying through the Sumy region in the direction of the Poltava region. Residents of Mirhorod and Poltava were urged to stay in shelters.

Meanwhile, one group of “shaheds” was moving towards Starokonstantinov, another, in the south of Vinnytsia region, was moving in a westerly direction. Drones were also recorded in the Cherkasy region in the northwestern direction.

At 04:34, the Air Force declared a missile danger in the Odesa region.

The air alert due to the threat of attack UAVs for regions except Odessa region was canceled at 05:15. Explosions were reported in the Khmelnytskyi region.
