Baloha’s family did enter the andesite field

Pavlo Baloha established control over Andesit M LLC, which bought a special permit for the extraction of andesite-dacite from the Southern section of the Zborivske deposit (Zakarpattia region) at an auction held by the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources. Also, the share in the capital of the company became the property of Oksana Baloha.

According to YouControl, Pavlo Baloha is the son and Oksana Baloha is the wife of Viktor Baloha, MP of the 4th, 7th and 9th convocations. The family and its partners established control over Andesit M in May-June 2024. Along with Pavlo and Oksana Baloha, as of June 2024, Oksana Lilyk, Iryna Lanyo, Ruslana Hodya, and Nadiya Fediv own shares in Andesit M LLC. Ivan Patskan is the head of the company.

As a reminder, the permit for the Southern area of the Zborivske andesite deposit was awarded by the State Service of Geology and Subsoil on 27 February 2024. The winner was Andesit M LLC, which then belonged to Vladyslav Vitvinov, with a bid of UAH 18,200,000. Pavlo Baloha’s company Rusynia LLC offered UAH 100,000 less for the lot. The southern section of the Zborivske andesite-dacite deposit is included in the State Balance of Mineral Reserves of Ukraine "Kamin Budivelnyi". The total amount of mineral reserves as of 01.01.2023 by classes and categories is as follows: balance reserves within the quarry: (class code 121) C1 - 9,778.23 thousand m3; conditional balance reserves within the 300-metre sanitary protection zone (brown explosion zone) of the MIR power line: (class code 222) C2 - 7,647.7 thousand m3. The deposit has not been developed and is registered with the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine.

The andesite-dacite of the Southern area of the Zborivske deposit complies with DSTU B V.2.7-75-98 "Crushed stone and gravel dense natural for building materials, products, structures and works. Technical specifications" and DSTU B B.2.7-241:2010 "Rubble stone. Technical specifications" (source).
