Missile attack on Kyiv: the Russian Federation used Iskander-K, air defence shot down two missiles
Russian troops used Iskander-K cruise missiles to strike Kyiv on 30 June, and Ukraine’s air defence shot down two missiles, Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Illya Yevlash said on the United News telethon on Monday, 1 July.
He also commented on the information about the change in the tactics of the invaders during the shelling of the capital.
“Mostly, the enemy attacks at night, this time they struck in the evening, on Sunday, on a warm summer day, when there were a lot of people,” Yevlash said.
The speaker added that tonight was relatively calm, the Russian Federation did not use suicide bombs to strike Ukraine. However, the activity of Russian strategic aviation remains.
