
After the outbreak of a full-scale war, the number of attempts to illegally cross the Ukrainian border increased. The most violations are on the border with Romania (its length is 613.8 kilometers) and Moldova (939 kilometers).
This was stated by the assistant to the head of the State Border Service, press secretary Andriy Demchenko. Let us remind you: due to martial law, the departure of Ukrainian citizens liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 60 is prohibited.
Demchenko admitted that the State Border Guard Service now records attempts to illegally cross the state border every day and detains violators every day.
“On certain days and periods there may be more such attempts, on other days and periods there may be fewer. But in general, during martial law (compared to what it was before February 24, 2022), there have been many more of them,” the press reported. -Secretary of the State Border Guard Service.
