Cholera-like vibrio was discovered in the reservoirs of the part of Donetsk region not controlled by Ukraine and, first of all, in occupied Mariupol.

This was reported to the so-called “administration” of the city.

According to the public, residents of occupied Mariupol admit that the first bans on swimming in the sea were related to cholera and "the presence of cholera-like vibrio was detected in reservoirs, rivers and sea water within the city district of Mariupol. The Kalmus River near the village of Sadky and the Post Bridge, the Kalchyk River near the old TB clinic building, and the sea beach near the shipyard are also at risk."

At the same time, Mariupol healthcare workers do not rule out the presence of cholera on the beaches and in the water bodies of Mariupol. The resource writes:

"This was warned about back in April-May 2022. This is due to the fact that the occupiers did not remove and bury tens of thousands of Mariupol residents who died under Russian bombs in certain places. No one checked the high-rise buildings, private houses and basements destroyed by Russian shelling, where many people and animals could have been trapped under the rubble. Everything was loaded by bulldozers and excavators into multi-tonne trucks and taken to improvised landfills set up by the occupiers. No one checked anything.

But according to the occupiers, everything is fine, and the holiday season in Mariupol and Sedove continues with cholera-like diseases, and not just vibrios.
