Preferential loans for electrical equipment will become available in Ukraine
In Ukraine, from July 20, preferential loan programs are being introduced for the purchase of electrical equipment in conditions of electricity shortages.
According to Economy Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko, the programmes include:
– interest-free loans to citizens for the installation of energy equipment with a capacity of up to 10 kW;
– loans for businesses from UAH 150 million for alternative generation and other purposes. They will be provided by 19 banking institutions, in particular Oschadbank, PrivatBank, Ukrgasbank and others;
– providing an opportunity for condominiums and housing cooperatives to participate in a preferential lending program for the installation of equipment for alternative electricity generation.
