Situation at the front: 139 clashes occurred

This is stated on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the situation as of 8:00 on Saturday, July 6.

According to updated information, yesterday the Russian army launched six missile strikes (using 12 missiles), 55 air strikes (72 CAB), and carried out more than three thousand attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, and carried out more than three thousand attacks, 105 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Vovchansk, Ruska Lozova, Hlyboke, Kurylivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kivsharivka in Kharkiv region; Chasovyi Yar, Toretsk, New York, Mykolaivka, Vovche, Novoselivka Persha, Kostiantynivka, Maksymilianivka in Donetsk region; and Hulyaipole in Zaporizhzhya region.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops continued offensive and assault operations with the support of aviation. A total of eight combat engagements took place in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Staritsa and Liptsy.

In the Kupyansk sector, the number of combat engagements increased to five over the day. Defence forces repelled attacks in the areas of Sinkivka and Petropavlivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman sector, 21 Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske in Luhansk region, Terny in Donetsk region and in the Serebryansky forest.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defence forces repelled seven attacks in the areas of Spirne and Vyymka in Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 10 Russian attempts to break through the defences in the areas of Klishchiyivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske and Andriivka in Donetsk region.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops launched 18 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Pivnichne and New York in Donetsk region, supporting their actions with air strikes.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 45 hostile attacks were repelled near Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Prohres, Yasnobrodivka, Novoselivka Persha, Umanske and Netaylove in Donetsk region. The Russian army carried out more than half of them near Novooleksandrivka and Novoselivka Persha.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Nevelske and Kostiantynivka, where Russians tried to break through the defences nine times.

In the Vremivsk sector, Russian troops carried out seven attacks in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Vodiane and Makarivka in the Donetsk region.

Two firefights took place in the Orikhove sector. The enemy received a fierce rebuff near Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the invaders continue to try to drive the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions on the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. All five attacks were unsuccessful.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There are no signs of Russian offensive groups forming.
