The occupiers destroyed two substations that were on the territory of Okhmatdyt
During the Russian attack on the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital on July 8, two substations were destroyed. They supplied light to the entire territory of the medical facility.
DTEK Executive Director Dmytro Sakharuk spoke about this, writes hromadske.radio .
“We have a lot of destruction. If we talk about Okhmatdyt, there were two substations on the territory of this hospital, they were completely destroyed. They powered the entire infrastructure of the hospital, so yesterday we quickly provided assistance,” he said.
According to him, mobile transformer substations were installed in order to heal, according to a temporary scheme, those areas of the hospital that need it, they worked yesterday on generators there, certain rooms were healed.
“We made sure that this was a permanent scheme, at least without generators. We will look further, it will be necessary to restore substations and a lot of equipment, since this was the infrastructure of a hospital, we will decide with the local authorities,” Sakharuk stated.
