The Zhytomyr region avoided applying power outage schedules, despite the order of Ukrenergo.
This was reported by the head of the State Energy Supervision Service, Ruslan Slobodyan, during a telethon.
“It was no coincidence that we went to check the Zhytomyr region, because we received signals - an appeal from citizens and data from Ukrenergo that something was not quite right there,” explained Slobodyan.
During the inspection, it became known that the dispatch service of Zhytomyr Electric Grids confirmed to Ukrenergo that the outage schedules were being applied, but in fact, not all queues were involved.
According to the head of the State Energy Supervision Service, this resulted in the load on the region’s power grids not decreasing or decreasing significantly, which contradicted Ukrenergo’s orders.
“The energy system is not yet fully automated, so the human factor also plays a big role. However, there is state control, and we will take action against those who committed violations,” Slobodyan noted.
We would like to remind you that earlier in the Zhytomyr region, the inspection found numerous cases of non-compliance with the commands of NEC Ukrenergo dispatchers to introduce blackout schedules.
