NABU conducts search of Kharkiv Regional State Administration department head

The NABU conducted a search of the office of Serhiy Khristoyev, Head of the Logistics Division of the Department of Housing, Utilities and Fuel and Energy Complex of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, in connection with the purchase of wire.

This is stated in the decision of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court dated July 12.

As indicated, on July 3, NABU detectives conducted a search at Khristoyev’s place of residence and seized iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max mobile phones. When examining the phones, they found correspondence between officials of the Department of Housing and Public Utilities and the FEC KHRSA regarding the level of prices for wire, in particular, in the Signal and WhatsApp mobile applications. When trying to inspect the WhatsApp application on the iPhone 11 Pro Max mobile phone, it was found that the device requires updating the application by entering an Apple ID and password. However, the owner of the said phone did not provide the relevant information. Therefore, the SAPO prosecutor asked to seize the phones.

“The request of the SAPO prosecutor is granted. Seize property, namely: mobile phone iPhone 14 Pro Max; mobile phone iPhone 11 Pro Max. The ruling is subject to immediate execution,” the decision says.
