Now in Ukraine it is prohibited to issue loans to gamblers, - NBU

On July 25, 2024, a new mechanism for limiting lending to persons prone to gambling came into force in Ukraine.

Banks and other credit institutions are now required to check whether a potential borrower is in a special register. To do this, they will contact the credit bureaus.
