At night, air defence forces shot down a missile and 9 "Shaheds"
On the night of 29 July 2024, the enemy attacked with an X-59/X-69 guided missile from the airspace of occupied Donetsk region and 10 Shahed-type attack UAVs from Cape Chauda - Crimea.
Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk announced this on Telegram .
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, a X-59/X-69 guided missile and nine Shahed-131/136 UAVs were shot down. Air targets were destroyed in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Kirovohrad regions.
Anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare units of the Air Force, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.
