How many Ukrainians consider mobilisation necessary to protect themselves from Russia
About 60% of Ukrainians are convinced that without mobilization, Ukraine will be occupied by Russia. Slightly more than 40% of them believe that avoiding mobilization is shameful.
At the same time, about 36% of respondents are of the opinion that continued mobilization will not bring victory closer and will only lead to new victims. This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey by the Razumkov Center, conducted from June 20 to 28, commissioned by ZN.UA.
According to the survey, 59.8% of respondents agree with the statement “Mobilization is extremely necessary, since without it Ukraine will be occupied by Russia.”
41.3% of those who consider mobilization to be extremely necessary are sure that it is a shame to avoid it, 35.9% are of the opposite opinion.
The thesis “Mobilization will only lead to new victims and will not bring victory or the signing of a peace agreement closer” is shared by 40% of all respondents.
The majority of them - 64.5% - are convinced that being draft dodgers is not a shame now; 16% hold the opposite opinion.
In the country as a whole, the number of those who do not see anything wrong with evading mobilization is 46%, 29% consider it shameful, and one in four find it difficult to decide on their own attitude towards evaders.
Most of those who do not condemn draft dodgers are in the south of our country; second place in this indicator is taken by the western regions.
