
On August 8, Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region, was subjected to artillery shelling by Russian occupation forces. The hit hit the hospital grounds, killing a 50-year-old man.
The tragedy was confirmed by the head of the Regional State Administration (OVA) Sergei Lysak on his Telegram channel. He said that while the Ukrainian was alive, doctors fought to the last, but they failed to save the wounded man.
The institution’s buildings, garages, cars, and power lines were also damaged.
