The head of state noted the combat brigades that effectively defend our state and wage fierce battles with the enemy. Zelenskyy paid special attention to the combat brigades in Sumy, Kharkiv, the south of the country and all areas of Donbas, including the toughest ones - Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Kramatorsk.
"I would especially like to mention the 47th and 110th separate mechanized brigades. This is the Pokrovsk direction. Well done, guys! Also - the 1st separate assault battalion, the 35th separate marine brigade, the 54th separate mechanized brigade, the 57th and 59th separate motorized infantry, the 77th separate airmobile and the 100th separate mechanized brigade. Thank you all! Also - the special unit of the DIU for actions in the southern direction," the Ukrainian leader said.
He also thanked the partners who are implementing sanctions against Russia and persons associated with it.
"Every week this should be felt - that the sanctions really work and everyone who tries to somehow circumvent them receives a response from the world," Zelenskyy emphasized.
In his address, the head of state noted the important role of the new defense package for Ukraine from the United States.
"I thank you for the new defence packages for Ukraine. There is an American package this week. Missiles for the Stingers, shells for the Heimars, artillery - 155 caliber. We are working for timely logistics so that the aid can be felt at the front as quickly as possible. And we are very much looking forward to decisions on range - from the United States, and from Great Britain, and from France - we are looking forward to strong decisions that will bring a fair peace closer," Zelenskyy said.
