Situation at the front: 158 combat clashes occurred in 24 hours

This was announced on the air of the national telethon "Unified News" by the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Kovalyov.

"Over the past 24 hours, 158 military clashes have occurred. More than a third of them were in the Pokrovsk direction," Kovalyov noted.

According to him, Russian occupants attempted to attack in the Kharkiv sector five times. The fighting took place in the vicinity of Lypky and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 14 attacks in the areas of Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka, Kruhlyakivka, Synkivka, Andriivka and in the direction of Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Hrakivka, Novosadove, Makiivka, Nevske, Novosergiivka, Novoyehorivka and Torske.

In the Siverskyi sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 10 attacks near Ivanodaryivka, Spirne and Verkhokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped seven enemy attempts to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops near Ivanivske and Andriivka in Donetsk region.

The enemy tried to advance 24 times in the Toretsk sector in the vicinity of Pivnichne, New York, Nelipivka, Zalizne and, most actively, near Toretsk, where they also launched five attacks with guided aerial bombs.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 63 attacks. Most of them took place in the areas of Novohrodivka, Mykhailivka and Vozdvyzhenka.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Nevelske and Kostiantynivka, where the occupants tried to break through Ukrainian defensive lines 11 times.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy made five attempts to seize our positions near Vodyane and Vuhledar in Donetsk region. Attacks also took place from the direction of Volodymyrivka and Solodke.

The occupants did not take any active steps in the Orikhivske and Huliaypole directions yesterday.

In the Kherson region, in the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one attack on Ukrainian positions.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. There are no signs of enemy offensive groups forming.

On the border with Chernihiv region, the enemy maintains a military presence and conducts reconnaissance activities.

Our soldiers continue to actively deplete the enemy’s combat potential, including during the operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
