
In the night of September 22, 71 strike UAVs were destroyed by air defence forces, and six more drones were locally lost due to electronic warfare countermeasures.
This was reported by the Air Forces.
According to the military, the enemy attacked with two guided aviation missiles X-59/69 from the airspace of the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region and launched 80 Shahed-type strike UAVs towards Ukraine from the Russian cities of Yeisk and Kursk.
Air defence operated in Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
