In the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the withdrawal from Vuhledar

The AFU officially confirmed the withdrawal of their troops from Vuhledar.

The Operational Command "Khortytsia" reports that after Russian attacks on the flanks, "which weakened the AFU’s defenses," "there was a threat of the city being surrounded."

"The highest command gave permission to execute a maneuver to evacuate units from Vuhledar in order to preserve personnel and military equipment, as well as to take advantageous positions for further actions," the statement says.
