In the Khmelnytskyi region, inspections of the MSEC will be intensified, along with the search for conscripts

The Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration made this decision in light of a corruption scandal involving the head of the regional MSEC center, who was exposed for illegal enrichment and suspected of falsifying medical documents.

In the Khmelnytsky region, the search for individuals evading mobilization will be intensified, and a review of military medical commissions (MMC) and medical-social expert commissions (MSEC) will be conducted. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting led by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin, reported the administration on Thursday, October 10.

The event was attended by representatives of the administration, the leadership of the Main Directorate of the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Territorial Centers of Recruitment and Social Support of the Khmelnytskyi region.

Tyurin noted that earlier in the year, several meetings were held to discuss the proper organization of the MMC and MSEC, emphasizing the prevention of any violations, including corruption. According to him, inspections aimed at identifying violators and holding them accountable are currently ongoing in the region.

The issue of searching for individuals evading mobilization was separately addressed. Heads of district military administrations (DMA) and communities were instructed to strengthen cooperation with law enforcement agencies and to enhance efforts in notifying conscripts.

"Under martial law, each of us has a responsibility for the security of the state. Only through joint efforts can we overcome all challenges and ensure stability in the region. It is the duty of everyone to conscientiously fulfill their responsibilities and contribute to strengthening the country’s defense capability," Tyurin stated.
