Zelenskyy held a Staff meeting: discussed the operational situation at the front

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a new meeting of the supreme commander-in-chief on October 14. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported on the operational situation at the front line.

"Active actions continue along the entire length of the front, but particularly fierce battles are taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions. For the fifth day, the Russians are trying to break through our defense in Kursk region. Our soldiers are holding their positions and counterattacking," the head of state noted. Briefly about what was discussed at the meeting, he reported on Telegram.

Representatives of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine provided in-depth analytics on who specifically is helping Russia fight against our country - militarily, economically, politically, openly and covertly - and what steps Kyiv and partners need to take to weaken these criminal alliances.

A report from the Ministry of Defence on the conclusion of contracts (including with the use of Western assistance) and investments of key partners in the Ukrainian defense industry was also presented.
