From Kupyansk, a mandatory evacuation has been announced

An obligatory evacuation of all civilians from Kupyansk has been announced, informed the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

"The military situation is deteriorating: we cannot ensure the heating season, supply electricity, and provide humanitarian aid, as the enemy is striking critical infrastructure," emphasized Syniehubov.

According to him, Russian forces have approached the Oskil River and may soon attempt to cross it.

Besides the Kupiansk city community, the evacuation will affect residents of the Kondrashivska, Kurylivska, and Petropavlivska communities.

“A decision has also been made on the forced evacuation of families from the Borova territorial community of the Izium district, approximately 250 such families,” added Syniehubov.

According to him, evacuation measures will be intensified, as many people are reluctant to leave their homes.

Yesterday, Syniehubov noted that about 4,000 people remain in Kupyansk, mainly pensioners.
