Almost 45% of Ukrainians receive a pension of less than 100 dollars

As of the beginning of October, there are 10.34 million pensioners in Ukraine. 43% of pensioners receive payments of less than 100 dollars, and more than half of them receive only 66 dollars or 2,760 hryvnias per month.

In October, the average pension in Ukraine was 5,851 hryvnias or 141 dollars.

Only 12.7% or 1.3 million Ukrainians receive pensions exceeding 10,000 hryvnias. On average, pensioners in this group receive 15,354 hryvnias or 370 dollars.

The highest pensions are in Kyiv—approximately 7.9 thousand hryvnias. Rivne and Donetsk regions are also among the leaders. The lowest pensions are in Ternopil, Chernivtsi, and Zakarpattia regions.
