NEC "Ukrenergo" suspended its employee from duties on October 14 after being detained by the Security Service of Ukraine for justifying Russia’s crimes.
This was reported by the company’s press service on Facebook.
"NEC ’Ukrenergo’ suspended its employee from official duties starting October 14, regarding whom the Security Service of Ukraine initiated a criminal case under Article 436-2, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - ’justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants,’" the report states.
It is noted that Ukrenergo has established an internal commission to conduct an official investigation and is actively cooperating with the investigation.
"Any manifestations of justifying Russian aggression are unacceptable for the Ukrenergo team. Especially considering that 9 of our employees were killed at their workplaces due to the attacks of the occupiers, and 11 more died on the front lines, with weapons in hand," the company emphasized.
