
Russian forces again launched attack drones on Ukraine on the evening of Wednesday, October 16. Several UAVs were heading towards Kyiv and might have been launched from Belarus. Later, several more groups of kamikaze drones entered from the northeast direction.
This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Around 8:00 PM, the military urged Kyiv residents to stay in shelters. The capital’s mayor, Vitaliy Klychko, reported that air defense worked on a drone in Pushcha-Vodytsia.
Around 10:30 PM, enemy "Shaheds" flew into Ukrainian territory from the northeast direction.
The drones were heading through the Sumy region in a western direction, and several more groups were recorded in the Poltava region, heading towards Myrhorod and Poltava.
