The occupiers are attempting to take control of an important village in the Donetsk region

Russian forces continue their attempts to fully capture the village of Maksymilyanivka in the Donetsk region.

This is reported by the analytical project DeepState.

The project writes that Russian assaults involved the use of mechanized columns and were repelled by Ukrainian fighters of the 46th Airmobile Brigade.

Analysts note that Maksymilyanivka is "like a bone in the throat" for the occupiers, which they have long been trying to capture to open another route to Kurakhove. In recent days, they have once again pulled up reserves and increased artillery activity.
