
During the night and morning of October 22, the Russian army struck the border communities of the Sumy region 19 times, recording 45 explosions.

According to the RMA, Sumy, Mykolaivka, Khotyn, Yunakivka, Myropillya, Bilopillya, Krasnopillya, Velyka Pysarivka, Seredyna-Buda, and Znob-Novhorodske communities came under fire.
The Sumy community was attacked by the Russians using a drone, damaging two residential buildings. Three people died, including a child, and one person was injured.
The enemy hit the Bilopillya, Seredyna-Buda, and Znob-Novhorodske communities with artillery.
The Myropillya community was attacked by Russian airstrikes and artillery, causing a store to burn.
Aerial strikes were recorded in the Yunakivka and Khotin communities.
As a result of artillery shelling in the Mykolaivka rural community, an agricultural building caught fire.
The Krasnopillya community was hit by the enemy using a self-propelled artillery unit.
The Velyka Pysarivka community was attacked by the Russian army with an FPV drone.
