
The European Union will provide Ukraine with a loan of up to 35 billion euros as part of G7 commitments. This decision was made by the EU Council.
This information was disclosed with reference to Hungary’s presidency in the EU Council on Twitter and the White House press office.
"After the successful completion of the written procedure, the Council today adopted a financial assistance package for Ukraine, which includes an exceptional macro-financial assistance loan of up to 35 billion euros," Hungary’s presidency stated.
Meanwhile, the White House announced that the United States plans to provide Ukraine with a loan of 20 billion dollars.
