Armed Forces of Ukraine withdrew from three settlements in the Kurakhove direction

In the Kurakhove direction in Donetsk region, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers have left the city of Hirnyk due to the difficult operational situation there.

This was reported on Telegram by Ukrainian military journalist Bohdan Myroshnykov.

He noted that Ukrainian units also left Izmailivka, Oleksandropol, and the remaining parts of Zoryane.

The advance of Russian forces in Hirnyk and Oleksandropol was confirmed by the Ukrainian information resource DeepState, which recently updated its interactive maps.

"The enemy is actively pressing on Kurakhivka, and urban battles have begun there," Myroshnikov writes. "I don’t think we will hold on to Kurakhivka for long, as there is a visible threat of encirclement on the horizon."

The observer believes that there is one way out from this situation, but it is not reliable.
