Last night, air defence forces and assets neutralized all enemy kamikaze drones that Russian occupiers launched to strike Kyiv. However, fires occurred in the capital due to falling UAV debris.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.
The administration noted that this air attack on the Ukrainian capital was the 18th since the beginning of October.
The Kyiv Military Administration informed that the air raid alert was declared twice at night in Kyiv, lasting a total of over four hours.
"Enemy drones approached the capital from different directions, but the air defence forces and assets timely detected and neutralized them," the official noted.
According to preliminary data, debris from the attackers’ strike drones fell in the Solomyanskyi and Svyatoshynskyi districts of the capital.
In the Solomyanskyi district, there was a depressurization of a gas pipe on the territory of a residential area on the facade of a nine-story building.
As a result, a store caught fire.
"Three parked cars also caught fire. The fire was extinguished," the head of the Kyiv Military Administration reported.
He also mentioned that five people sought medical assistance, and one person was hospitalized.
In the Svyatoshynskyi district of the capital, enemy UAV debris broke windows in a three-story administrative building.
"No information about casualties has been received," added the official.
