A boy died in the occupied Luhansk region due to a grenade launcher explosion.
Local media report that an "LPR" soldier decided to demonstrate to a student how the weapon fires, but the ammunition exploded in the barrel.
The incident occurred on October 27 when the family of a Russian soldier from Stavropol, who has been serving since September, visited him in the Dovzhanskyi district of the Luhansk region. The soldier’s commander met a 13-year-old boy named Sasha (name changed) and decided to show him the grenade launcher. During the shot, the ammunition exploded in the barrel. The commander died instantly, and the boy, suffering from severe injuries, was transported to the hospital in a military vehicle, but they were unable to save him — he died.
According to media reports, the father received shrapnel wounds, while the mother was unharmed.
