The lawyer explained the consequences of failing to pay a fine for evading mobilization

Individuals who have not paid the fine for evading military registration may face sanctions such as funds being deducted from accounts or property being seized. A notice about the fine can be sent by mail or found through the "Diya" service. Details were explained by lawyer Dmytro Franchuk.

It is reported that the TRC and SS can legally issue fines without drafting a protocol. In such a case, a corresponding resolution is issued, which can be appealed in court. The fine can be imposed within three months, but no later than a year from the date of the violation detection. For the first violation, the amount ranges from 17,000 to 25,000 UAH, and for officials and legal entities—from 34,000 to 59,500 UAH.

In case of late payment, the penalties may include:

• bank accounts being seized;
• funds being deducted from these accounts;
• property being seized with the possibility of sale.

Paying the fine does not exempt from the obligation to respond to the TRC summons and update the data—instead, criminal proceedings may be initiated against such a person.

There are different ways to learn about the fine for not appearing at the TRC

To find out about the fine imposed for not appearing at the TRC and SS, one can personally visit the center, where one can also clarify the amount and reason, explained lawyer Dmytro Franchuk.

The notice of a fine can also be delivered to a mailbox.
