Drone attack on the capital: the top two floors of a 16-storey building caught fire
As a result of a drone attack in Kyiv, the top two floors of a 16-story building caught fire. Residents are being evacuated.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Kyiv City Military Administration, and the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klychko.
In the Svyatoshynskyi district of the capital, a fire broke out due to a drone attack over an area of 50 m2, with partial destruction of apartments on the 15th and 16th floors of a 16-story residential building.
Rescuers are evacuating the residents of the building.
A man was injured as a result of the incident. Medical personnel provided assistance on site.
Debris also fell in the Dniprovskyi district. A balcony in a 9-story residential building caught fire on one of the floors over an area of 2 m².
No information about casualties was received.
The State Emergency Service announced the extinguishing of the fire caused by the enemy attack in the Svyatoshynskyi district of the capital on the 16th floor, as well as partial destruction in the apartments on the 15th and 16th floors.
Rescuers evacuated 18 residents of the building, with one person injured.
On the scene are 9 units of equipment and 40 employees of the State Emergency Service.
In the Dniprovskyi district, firefighters quickly eliminated the smoke that appeared on a balcony in one of the apartments due to household reasons. No injuries were reported.
