Women’s air defence units are already protecting certain areas of the country, — Major General of the Reserve

Serhiy Kryvonos emphasized the need to develop these capabilities and share experiences.

"In 1942, both in Germany and in the Soviet Union, men from the air defense were sent to the front, and women took their place. My grandmother fought in such a regiment from 1942 to 1945, quite successfully," he said.

He also noted the importance of preparing rotations for those currently working in air defence and emphasized that women can hold appropriate positions.
