Language conflict in Kyiv: police brought the offender to justice
The police punished a man for "petty hooliganism" who was speaking Russian and took the phone from a girl who demanded he stop speaking Russian and was recording the event on video.
According to the Kyiv police, the "offender" was identified as a 44-year-old resident of the Kyiv region, and the police filed a report against him under Article 173 of the administrative code - "petty hooliganism".
The police also claim that the "collected materials" will be sent to the language ombudsman "for review and bringing the violator to justice".
