Kurakhove is under the threat of encirclement, reported 33rd Mechanized Brigade press officer Nazar Voytenkov in an interview with Radio Liberty.

Voytenkov avoided answering the question about whether the Armed Forces should leave Kurakhove, but described the situation as "extremely difficult" and noted that it has changed significantly since the summer.
