Syrskyi made a statement regarding the Kursk region, which MP Maryana Bezuhla calls "preparation for the withdrawal of troops from Kursk."

The Commander-in-Chief reports that this operation was meant to disrupt Russia’s plans for an offensive in the Sumy direction from the Kursk region, and this task was successfully accomplished, with Russia suffering significant losses.

"Currently, Russia seeks to achieve the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from this territory. The enemy has concentrated about 45,000 servicemen there and is trying to increase their number. Russia does not have enough troops in this direction, so they are trying to bring in soldiers from North Korea. Russian occupiers intended to capture more territories in the north of Ukraine in the Sumy region. However, the Defence Forces of Ukraine have taken preventive measures and continue to destroy the enemy on its territory," reports Syrskyi.

Bezuhla states that Syrskyi remained silent about the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the consequences for the Ukrainian front, and suggests to Syrskyi to "personally remain" in the Kursk region.

"Syrskyi prepared the withdrawal of troops from Kursk. However, he did not mention how many territories in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions were ’exchanged’ to the Russians during this time and how many Ukrainian citizens died. Perhaps, Oleksandr Stanislavovych, you will personally stay there? They will take theirs, and we might at least breathe a sigh of relief," comments the MP.
