Ukraine suspends air traffic with Iran, - Cabinet of Ministers
The Government of Ukraine has decided to terminate the air service agreement with Iran.
This announcement was made by the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
According to him, the agreement was signed between the governments of Ukraine and the Islamic Republic of Iran on July 9, 1993, in Tehran.
Iran is an ally of Russia in the war against Ukraine, actively supporting the aggressor. In particular, Tehran has transferred a significant number of Shahed kamikaze drones to Russia, which Russian forces use to attack the civilian population of Ukraine, causing destruction and casualties.
