Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets and the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova held a meeting on the territory of Belarus.

According to Dmytro Lubinets, his meeting with the Russian ombudswoman Moskalkova was organized with the support of the Belarusian side.

He stated that the repatriation of the bodies of the deceased was carried out.

Today, the Coordination Headquarters on the Treatment of Prisoners of War announced the return of the bodies of 563 fallen soldiers.

Among them are 320 bodies of defenders who died in the Donetsk direction, and another 89 from the Zaporizhzhya direction. Simultaneously, it was possible to return 154 bodies from morgues on the territory of Russia.

Ukraine also facilitated family reunification. Following the talks, a 91-year-old woman was reunited with her son. Lubinets expressed hope that communication on this issue would continue.

Ukraine and Russia exchanged lists of prisoners of war visited by both sides, the ombudsman reported.

Letters from relatives to Ukrainian prisoners of war in Russia were also delivered. Lubinets also held talks with the leadership of the International Committee of the Red Cross missions in Ukraine and Russia.
